2010 Anglo Celtic Plate in June

The Anglo Celtic Plate 100km will take place in Boddington, UK on 19 June 2010.

The race is a Home Nations international competition between Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

There is also a 50km event which is part of the IAU World 50km Trophy Series. The 2010 World 50km Trophy Final will take place in Galway on 29 August 2010.

The 2009 Anglo Celtic Plate was also held in Galway on 28 March 2009. Ireland's Helena Crossan took the women's title and then won a European bronze medal later in the year. England's Jezz Bragg, pictured above winning the Commonwealth Championships 100km, ran a blistering time of 6:58:00 to win the men's race.

Ireland will send a men's and women's team to the 2010 Plate. If you believe you are suitably qualified and are interested in participating, please contact info@ultrarunningireland.com.

In addition to the formal international aspect, the Anglo Celtic Plate is an open competition in which anyone can participate. You can download an application form here.
