Irish international ultra runner Eddie Gallen finished 5th at the IAU-labelled Barcelona 24H race on December 19th-20th.
The Spanish-based athlete had another sterling performance when posting 207.130km.
Eddie is perhaps the most consistent performer for Ireland at 24-Hour running and has represented Ireland at the last three world championships.
He has previously won the '24 Hores D'Athletisme' Barcelona race and posted his PB at the same meet last year when covering 216.213km.
The race was excellent preparation for the World 24 Hour Challenge in May 2010 where he will attempt to be at his peak.
